Jonathan has represented clients in real estate, hospitality and office development, leasing, and financing. He has worked with companies such as leading developers Brixmor Property Group (formerly known as New Plan Excel) and New York City real estate group Kramer Levin before relocating to Miami. There, he worked on large real estate development projects and leasing and financing representation with major lenders.
Upon relocating to Miami, Jonathan joined Bilzin Sumberg, where he represented Miami’s top developers in condominium development, retail and office acquisitions, and sales and leasing. Spotting his talent, Turnberry Associates recruited him as Senior Transactional Attorney, allowing him the opportunity to lead the expansion of the Aventura Mall, the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach, and the Town Square in Las Vegas.
Jonathan chaired the real estate practice group at Weiss Serota before relocating to Portland, Oregon. There, he represented retail developers and landlords with leading Northwest Law Firm Stoel Rives. Jonathan later returned to Maimi to join Katz Barron, where he led the leasing of Bal Harbour Shops, the acquisition and sale of auto dealerships for AutoNation, and the financing and management of Fisher Island and Ocean Reef Club.
