Carlos A. Lievano has experience in commercial litigation, white collar defense, and corporate transactional law. He has represented clients in commercial and residential real estate disputes, business disputes, tax controversies, and has represented clients in insurance, intellectual property, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Diaz-Silveira, Carlos served as an associate to a large Florida litigation firm where he represented clients in business and real estate disputes, director & officer liability disputes, employment suits, and federal administrative proceedings. Carlos also provided pro-bono services to individuals across the State of Florida and counseled families in the Florida adoption process.
While in law school, he served on two National 501(c)(3) boards, worked in the general counsel’s office at a fortune 500 company, worked in a boutique corporate and tax firm, and interned at a boutique white-collar defense firm. He excelled in his law & entrepreneurship, corporate law, real estate, and corporate finance classes. Carlos received his B.A. from Florida International University, and received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2019. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, and the Middle District of Florida. Carlos speaks Spanish.
